Production & creator guidelines
Homeowners trust us with their homes. These are the rules every production and creator agrees to when booking. Breaking them can end a booking on the spot, with no refund.
People on set
- Everyone on set must be at least 18 with valid government ID.
- Every performer must give written, informed consent, and be free to stop at any time.
- Your production keeps the age and consent records the law requires, including 18 U.S.C. § 2257 where it applies.
- No one who is intoxicated or unable to consent may take part.
- Stay within the headcount you booked.
Never allowed
- Anyone under 18, or content suggesting a minor.
- Paid sexual services, escorting, or using a booking to arrange them.
- Coercion, threats, or anyone not free to leave or speak for themselves.
- Hidden cameras, or filming anyone who hasn't agreed to be filmed.
- Anything visible to neighbors or the public, or filming in areas the owner has marked off-limits.
- Illegal drugs, weapons, animals or anything else illegal on the property.
Respect the home
- Use only the rooms and areas the owner approved, during the hours you booked.
- Protect furniture, bedding and floors. Bring your own linens and cleaning supplies for messy scenes.
- Don't film or photograph the owner's personal items, mail, documents, family photos or security systems.
- Keep noise and parking reasonable, and keep a low profile with neighbors.
- Leave the home exactly as you found it. Cleaning, damage and overtime are charged against the deposit.
Privacy
- Keep the address private. Don't post it, tag it, or share it beyond your crew.
- Don't show identifying exterior shots (house numbers, street signs) in published content.
Paperwork
- A signed location agreement and deposit before the address is released.
- A certificate of insurance when the owner requires one.
- Any permits your shoot needs are your production's responsibility. In Los Angeles that can include a film permit (FilmLA) and, for some adult productions, an LA County public-health permit, plus California workplace-safety rules for adult film. Tell us if you're unsure and we'll flag it before booking.
- Shoots involving public streets, anything visible from outside, prop weapons, pyrotechnics, drones, animals or late-night hours need extra review and the owner's specific OK.
