Renting a content house in LA: what to look for
A new location is one of the fastest ways to make your content feel fresh. Here's what to look for when you rent a house for an OnlyFans, Fansly or ManyVids shoot, and how to avoid the common problems.
An owner who has said yes
Short-term rentals like Airbnb generally don't allow commercial or adult filming, and hosts can cancel or report you. A home whose owner has approved adult content removes that risk completely.
Light
Big windows, glass doors and white walls make everything easier, especially if you shoot on a phone. Ask what time of day the main rooms get the best light, and book around it.
Several looks in one booking
The best content houses give you a bedroom, a bathroom with a great tub or shower, a living area and an outdoor spot (pool, deck, garden) so one booking fills a week or more of posts. Themed rooms (a saloon, a library, a bold modern kitchen) help your content stand out.
Privacy
Check whether neighbors can see the pool or yard. Gated homes and hillside lots with hedges are ideal for outdoor shots.
Short bookings
You rarely need a full production day for creator content. Ask for a few hours, and plan your shot list in advance so you use every minute.
House rules
- Bring your own towels and sheets for anything messy.
- Keep your headcount to what you booked.
- Leave the house as you found it, because the deposit depends on it.
- Don't show the address, house number or street in your posts.
